Who are we?

Munnelly Opticians is an independent family run business which was established in 2010 by Deirdre Munnelly, a qualified Optometrist. With over 20 years‘ experience in optometry the practice utilised all of the latest optical equipment, for example our eye tests include retinal camera screening as standard. Munnelly Opticians offers eye test, glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, eye healthcare products such as vitamins, dry eye management, eye health screenings as well as lots of aftercare support. Our aim is to provide the best customer experience at all times and we pride ourselves in customer care. Our retail unit located in Monksland, beside Supervalu, about 5 mins from Athlone town. There is ample free parking. On-sire we have a large selection of frames designed to suit all styles and budgets and cater for all types of lenses, coatings and tints.
